Hi Ric,
Just wanted to thank you again for last Saturday's lesson. You did an awesome job of instructing again and double koo-doos. for sticking it out with big George. For awhile there we were pretty nervous and I know George was too, but you hung in there with him and did an amazing job of finally getting him up!! Thanks so much!!!
George is already asking us when we will go again. He is hooked.
Also, thank you for the awesome board for Gregory. He is excited about going to the lake this coming Friday and trying it out.
We look forward to hoping to do one more lesson with you this summer.. hopefully with the boys again.
Thanks again,
Mary and Greg Marlow

Hi Ric,
You know I had to say that I didn't believe you when you said I would get up on a wakeboard on my first try. I had spent the summer frustrated by the fact that I couldn't get up. And sure enough after your instruction I got up. On the first try. Simply amazing. Thank you for your patience and your brilliant instruction. You are truly a natural born teacher at wakeboarding. I look forward to returning for more advance training, Again thanks a million. Anyone out there who is hesitant about learning with Ric don't be. He is a great guy and more importantly a great instructor.

Thanks Ric,
Initially I asked you if you could get us up on a board in this lesson. My two daughters, 15 and 17 and myself have never been. You responded confidentially with a definite yes. I have a boat and my daughters where bugging me to get a wakeboard. I didn't want to get the wrong board and still wasn't sure if we could even do it or have to spend the summer flogging around in the water wasting a lot of time and gas. Even though it seemed like a chunk of change to learn from you, I weighed out the cost savings if we could in fact learn in that one day.
Wow…that was the best thing I could have done to get into this kick-in-the butt sport. My daughters can't stop talking about it. Your easy going instruction and techniques got my oldest up in five tries, my younger up in 4 and myself, after watching and listening to your consistent instruction on what they where doing or not doing got me up in 3 tries.

I was having so much fun I couldn't believe the whole thing. My daughters are hooked and can't wait to get back out with our own board. The way they talk about it to their friends you would think they where avid wakeboarders. There now bugging me to get out and planning a camping trip with us, the boat and their friends. Some wakeboard but I told them I really don’t want to take out the one's that don't because it would be to much of a learning curve and a waste of my and everyone else's time (and gas). I told them to go on line to your site or call you first and spend a great day on the water in a low key (Yvonne added a great deal to the comfort level of my daughters to see her on the water demonstrating what you have been saying helped me to), quick learning environment so they can be ready to go. I don't think I'm being selfish here because it's not like snow skiing or boarding where you can let a new person go and do their own thing or take a lesson on their own while you can still go and utilize your $60 ticket on the snow. We've done it just with ourselves with water skies. You spend the whole day just trying to get one person up.
Thanks to you and my wise decision to drop the cash and leapfrog over the learning curve we will never have to waste time trying to get up on a board or for that matter, water skiing. Wakeboarding is so much fun and your instruction got us to learn almost instantly. We are now sore, but wakeboarders, totally hooked and ready to shred-it-up (I hope that’s the right term, if not I'll quickly be corrected by my critic teens).
Thanks again for the great day on the water and the bonus on dialing us in on the right type of board to get and the safety features of the bindings, another worthwhile tip that I would have been clueless on. I would have just listened to my kids friends and bought something that they used, you know, the ones that "know it all".
Take care and we'll see you next year or so when we're ready for the advanced lessons.

Ric,
Just wanted to let you know that Dave and Pete did a great job on Saturday. Our whole group had a good time despite the slight winds. Iíll gladly recommend L2W to other friends in the Bay Area. Donít be surprised if I return for round two before the summer ends.
