L2W Island on the Delta

    • Welcome to the new page of L2W Island. What we have done is leased an Island on the Delta where our friends can come and spend the day or spend the night on the Island

    Tell me about this Island

    This lsland is located near the access road off of the 205 near Tracy. Its a 50 minute ride from San Jose or San Francisco and the island is accessable by car. Now this doesnt mean you can drive up to the Island it means you can get to the ramps to get on the Island.

    The lsland is large enought to handle ruffly 200 people per day and will be able to handle tents and Sand volleyball courts. We will be clearing away an area to enlarge the beach. We dont have pictures yet as an areial shot has been ordered and will get them posted as soon as possible.

    How do I become a member If you are have signed up for lessons with us in the past seasons, your paper work is already on file. You just need to pay the membership and send us an updated contact info. Your past lessons have made you and one of your friends eligible for the island fee of $68.00 dollars. But, your friend must sign up for a lesson before the end of June 2010

    Membership is limited Membership is limited to 100 per summer. Why only 100? We have calculated that members will bring at least 1 friend and given that the weekends are always busy this number should make it comfortable for all of us.

    Membership Privilege Members are guaranteed spots during the summer. Members will have access to an online calendar before June 2010 so all memeber can see who is going to be on the lsland that day or week. Member will have first access for events that are planned and will have only be allowed to Camp overnight. Members will be allowed bring friends, but call to confirm.

    How much does it cost, if I just go on that day? That is an excellent question, Grasshopper.. The fee per day is $35.00 per person. And you must book 2 weeks in advance.

    Island of Misfits We know how tuff its been the last couple of years. So this summer we are making it a priority to get all of our friends back to what count the most. Friends, Family and Fun. We can only have a limited number of members so please be wise and sign up early. Waiting till summer is always to late.

    Note for Membership Unfortunately, All of our Southern California clients are not able to sign up for membership on the island until Northern California clients have completed the sign up time frame. Why? currently, clients in the Los Angeles and San Diego region start booking lessons in Jan and Feb and by March the reservation calendar is booked out. I know this is ruff and I'm gonna get a bunch of emails and possible torts, but I have to be fair. Call me if you have any question as a really good reason always prevails

    How many spots are left? To make it fair I will annouce the Island Membership on facebook. So make sure that I have your email or friends connection.
